Pleased to share that Global Com has been awarded a prime contract on MDA SHIELD. The Missile Defense Agency’s Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD) is a multiple award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a $151,000,000,000 ceiling.
Performance will occur across the U.S. This contract encompasses a broad range of work areas that allows for the rapid delivery of innovative capabilities to the warfighter with increased speed and agility, leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning enabled applications where pertinent, and maximizing use of digital engineering, open systems architectures, model-based systems engineering, and agile processes in the acquisition, development, and sustainment of these capabilities.
