Working with classified networks requires specialized expertise. Global Com has this expertise and has once again applied it to a project for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). In addition to installing the infrastructure to bring multiple networks to individual desktops, Global Com also had to protect the cabling against possible intrusion.  This was accomplished with the installation of a Protective Distribution System (PDS). At the end of the day, the DHS workforce has expanded connectivity to its classified networks while maintaining the integrity of the dataflow.
