Systems Integration

Network Integration

Network integration is a complex process that requires careful planning and execution to ensure success. Global Com can help your organization streamline network operations, improve communication and collaboration, and increase productivity. This integration can be accomplished through various methods, including hardware and software solutions, and is often necessary when organizations need to connect geographically dispersed locations or merge multiple networks into a single system.

Network Integration typically involves the following steps:

Network Analysis

The first step in network integration is to analyze the existing networks to identify any potential issues or challenges that may arise during the integration process. This includes evaluating network architecture, protocols, and security measures.

Planning

Once the analysis is complete, the next step is to develop a comprehensive integration plan that outlines the steps required to merge the networks into a single, functional system. This plan should include details about hardware and software requirements, network configurations, and security protocols.

Implementation

During the implementation phase, the network integration plan is put into action. This involves installing new hardware and software components, configuring network settings, and testing the network to ensure that it is functioning correctly.

Testing and Optimization

Once the network integration is complete, it is important to test the system to ensure that it is functioning correctly and that all components are working together as intended. Any issues that arise during testing should be addressed, and the network should be optimized to ensure maximum performance.

Intelligent Building Systems

Intelligent buildings are facilities that leverage complex automated systems to maximize operational efficiency and the well-being of occupants. An intelligent building is one that can merge building management requirements with IT systems to achieve optimized system performance as well as simplified general facility operations. Global Com designed systems simplifiy maintenance, enhance tenant experiences, increase productivity, and much more. Intelligent building design integrates Internet of Things (IoT) such as IoT-connected devices, cloud computing, augmented reality, and other systems into a platform that automates day-to-day processes. If an intelligent building knows that someone usually enters a room at 11:00, it can adjust lighting and HVAC systems to ensure the temperature is at a comfortable level and proper lighting is deployed. Then, if the individual does not arrive at 11:00, it can adjust the lighting and HVAC to save energy.

Since each intelligent building is unique in its own right, there are countless possible applications for the technology. Building Management Systems (BMS) collect data from sensors placed throughout the building, such as temperature, humidity, CO₂ levels, occupancy sensors, cameras, RFID scanners, and motion detectors. This data is then processed to make automated adjustments, such as regulating heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems or controlling lighting and security.
